Doom Master Levels

I have a small question. As far as I know, there are two packs of MASTER LEVELS FOR DOOM / DOOM II and now I want to know from where I can get them?! Is there any place I can download them?

PS: Another question is: Would the download of the ML be in any way illegal?

The Master Levels are a few (13 I think) badassed wads made for Doom II. Maximum Doom is a rediculous amount of shitty wads (3000 or so) slammed together from FTPs and put on a disc with the Master Levels.

AFAIK the Master Levels are still copyrighted software of id, so yeah, downloading them would be illegal. Sorry kiddo.

Yeah, there's the Master Levels and Maximum Doom, both on the same CD.

master levels go right up there fith final doom and the other thing that goes with it, plutonia experiment...yeah, just a bunch of levels.

"The Plutonia Experiment" is a part of Final DOOM, not another thing that goes with it.

At least, the Final DOOM levels could be played like full 32-level episodes, in almost logical order, while the DOOM II Master Levels (21 of them) are just single levels, that ID Software believed were good enough to sell.

When I bought the Master Levels, I thought it was a 21 levels wad. Not just single ones...
It's quite boring to drag and drop them ;)

I thought too that it was a mega WAD, because I played them on the PSX first. However, I merged them together into one WAD in the same order as this PSX version is.

I simply used WADauthor, or was it WinDEU ?
Maybe I used both, I can't remember it was long time ago...

1) I load every single WAD and changed the map numbers to this order:

I too made a wad with all of them. I couldn't figure out how to just stick the levels in a wad by themselves. Wintex only would let me put them in Doom2.wad. Weird.

One of these days I wouldn't mind making a PSX Final Doom wad for the PC. Problem is, there are textures not in Doom 2... Too bad I suck at making/editing levels as well.
