A little help, please, good folks

Now, my computer just went out of the stone age into the bronze age. Whee.

See, I just got a Voodoo2 for my P200 (Whoo!).

Now, the help I need. I cannot get Legacy working correctly in Glide mode. I get a bunch of flat, textureless surfaces and invisible sprites. It's atrocious.

Can anyone shed any light on the situation?

Oh, and FYI, neither OpenGL or MiniGL modes are any good unless I want to play in less than 1 FPS. And, no, I don't really need to get a better computer than the one I have. It plays Doom, Duke, Diablo II and Quake II - I'm happy. I'll only upgrade if Doom3's any good.

But anyway, my problem is really strange - can anybody help...?

hard to say... isn't this a source port question?
I think several people have made posts about gl modes.
as for the Voodoo2, try getting the 3dfx mini drivers and/or the www.glsetup.com updates.
perhaps the documentation for one of the gl ports is more informative.... good luck.

Your drivers are completely fucked up. Get into VoodooFiles, you should find everything you need in there. Get the Wicked3D drivers, see if that works.

I have a problem something like that. I can't get Legacy to work with ANYTHING other than plain old software. I wish the launcher wasn't so screwed up.....
