... what the best editors for graphics and whatnot for Doom are? and what is the best .wad editor? Preferrably "user-friendly" (read as Simple to use and get good results) ;) Now that Doom finally works for me I want to start making levels and stuff ;)

My fave Editor for WADs would be DeePSea more than likely. Trust me, DeePSea is extremely easy to use once you get the hang of it.
I don't edit graphics so, you're on your on there.
