Music CD run by ZDoom

I think other ports do this too but I'm using ZDoom in this case.

Ordinarily this didn't often happen but for some reason it just started doing it. I'll often pop in a cd in my cd drive and run Windows Media Player in the background while I play doom. Now Doom runs music from the CD over top of Windows Media Player. Playing two different songs at once.

Is there a way I can disable this?

Or better yet, is there a way I can change the volume so I don't have to run WMP? With soundfx all the way up the music is still much louder than the soundfx.

Go to sound options and there should be SFX and Music volume bars.
Just lower to lowest the Music volume bar.
