Reisal Posted April 9, 2011 @Xeros: Nice runthrough of my map, I counted 6 deaths, tho you could have saved a few reloads if you grabbed the green armor earlier :) The secrets are easy to find if you 'use' certain walls. Also.. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
TropicalDeathPunch Posted April 9, 2011 @Cris Brutal doom looks so sick! Is there a complete setup for this like KickStart or is it a collection of files or what not that you have to load some how. <<<(obviously has no clue) I would like to try it out anyways! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mithran Denizen Posted April 9, 2011 Brutal Doom is distributed in .pk3 versions for both (G)ZDoom and Skulltag; the project's thread is here, with seperate download links for each version. Make sure you read the instructions that come along with the download, as they are kind of important. You can use Brutal Doom in three main ways: -You can drag-n-drop the .pk3 file over the game EXE file. -You can load it at the command line with the '-file' parameter. -You can add its full path to the [Doom.Autoload] section of the (G)ZDoom / Skulltag .ini file. Note that this method will run Brutal Doom every time you play, but may conflict with other ZDoom mods that use DECORATE themselves. There is of course a parameter that you can use to prevent autoloading on a case by case basis, if you need to, and you could also customize a Windows shortcut to launch the mod, both of which are detailed here. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Katamori Posted April 9, 2011 A part of a hungarian subway station in ZDeamon. So funny :D Made by Body-Guard, the owner of the Destiny-Servers 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Katamori Posted April 9, 2011 He said it was only a test but he's planning to make to rebuild the complete Metro Line 3 (Budapest) in ZDaemon. He also use real pictures for the textures and the architecture. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mithran Denizen Posted April 10, 2011 The extra bits of melody really help that song a lot; it's not nearly as irritating as the original. Could still use more guiro, though. :P 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
TropicalDeathPunch Posted April 10, 2011 Man, Brutal Doom is a lot of fun! I really dig being able to look down an iron sight to pop shots off at a distance! Only question I have is about the double shotty. Is it supposed to be like the AA12? Don't get me wrong on this because I personally think its a feature that should be in this game, along with all the nifty things the real one can do also. Keep up the good work! BTW, thanks Mithran for the help. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Sounds cool man, those jazzy melodies definitely give the music more character. ============================================================= For my 1000th post, I'd just like to let it be known that I nearly got killed by a piece of steak this morning. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

TwinBeast Posted April 13, 2011 Heh, I just recently made some song with the Doom sounds too. Which also includes cyberdemon stomping some techno stuff. Not so melodic song though, only has a little melodic break with the powerup pickup sound. http://koti.mbnet.fi/jeejeeje/music/JCA_-_CyberdemonsDoom.mp3 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
