The Green Herring Posted December 29, 2009 Figured I'd start a thread for my MIDI compositions. Here's a list of them, arranged by year, with WAD names and song titles. All of them were made with Anvil Studio. Not much here, but I hope for the list to grow over time. They may not be used, however, without my permission. - 2007 - Community Chest 3: MAP15: Liberty Through Violence MAP27: Inferno's March - 2008 - Year 21 -The Vanishing Point-: MAP01: Goin' On a Rampage (also in Greenwar II MAP35) Plutonia 2: MAP12: Under a Crimson Moon MAP16: Come Out Fighting MAP24: Against God's Will - 2009 - Claustrophobia 1024: MAP01: Go Forth and Kill MAP06: In a Mad Rush Year 22 -A Rock and a Hard Place-: MAP02: Your Time is Long Overdue 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
stewboy Posted December 30, 2009 You like your E minor don't you? I count 5 pieces out of 9 which use it. (I tend to use it a lot too. I have no idea why.) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Mechadon Posted December 30, 2009 I really liked the music you allowed me to use in GWII's MAP35. I'll have to listen to these others I haven't heard yet :) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
lupinx-Kassman Posted December 30, 2009 As usual, I like what I hear. It also seems like you improve as time goes on. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Super Jamie Posted December 30, 2009 These are cool. You have a somewhat distinct style but also manage to make a variety of songs, from fast action to sombre spooky and there's even a bit of 70s war rock thrown in there. As Kassman said, your skill noticeably improves over time in tempo and use of multiple tracks at once. My favorites would be Crimson Moon and Mad Rush. Keen to see more as they come :) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
_bruce_ Posted December 30, 2009 Sounds pretty cool, especially infernos march... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Jimmy Posted December 30, 2009 Remember you asked me to remix one of these? I'm doing "Inferno's March". It's up to 3 minutes so far. ;) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I think I use it mainly because I listen to metal music a lot. E minor is popular in heavy metal music, at least.Super Jamie said:As Kassman said, your skill noticeably improves over time in tempo and use of multiple tracks at once. As a result, I'm surprised people actually like it. :pJimmy91 said:Remember you asked me to remix one of these? I'm doing "Inferno's March". 40oz Posted December 30, 2009 Claustrophobia MAP01 is an awesome track. I remember playing that map over and over while I was on vacation. Not only the map is pretty sick; the music makes it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
