DoomUK Posted December 16, 2011 Doom CE Doom 64 Doom 3 Doom 3: RoE Doom 3 Xbox CE Doom comic (the giveaway version) Masters of Doom The Making of Doom 3 Doom 3: Worlds on Fire Doom 3: Maelstrom I've had a few more bits and pieces but I parted with them over the years. But even including everything Doom-related I've ever owned my collection would pale in comparison to doomcu's. Impressive, man. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
yellowmadness54 Posted December 16, 2011 My metal collection better get this big. I hope it does. Im almost envious of this collection. That BFG is pretty sick, I'd chase around the neighbor kids with that thing. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Cire Posted January 21, 2012 Fantastic Doom collection, wish I had such a thing. Is it possible to buy stuff like this anymore anyway? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Waffenak Posted January 21, 2012 Cire said:. Is it possible to buy stuff like this anymore anyway? Yes, you just gotta keep checking ebay with magic search words every week or everyday if possible or you can get easily nice collection if you can trade 90's porsche turbo for my collection :) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

fraggle Posted January 28, 2012 Thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my modest collection. From top to bottom, left to right:Id Anthology (complete), version with updated Final Doom install Boxed Ultimate Doom (DOS) Doom Collector's Edition, 2003 edition (I have the 2001 edition as well, but I can't find it right now) The Doom movie on DVD Depths of Doom trilogy Doom II for Macintosh Ultimate Doom (DOS) Ultimate Doom for Macintosh Doom II French version Doom 3 Doom 64 Boxed Strife (v1.2) Strife (v1.1) Hexen Demongate (shovelware CD) Chex Quest install disk Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil Urban Brawl Final Doom Heretic Doom II (DOS) Box with some random shareware version install disks Doom "Battlebook" Doom II "The official strategy guide" Doom Construction Kit, missing CD :( Official Doom Survivor's Strategies and Secrets (the "official" strategy guide, with still-sealed v1.25 shareware install disks) The Lost episodes of Doom (with disks) Copy of Retro Gamer edition with a focus on Doom Masters of Doom The Doom comic (version with the different adverts - NOT the version from the Id AnthologyNone of these are "duplicates" - for example, "Ultimate Doom (DOS)" is listed twice - that means I actually have two copies of it, and there's another version inside the box. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

DoomUK Posted January 28, 2012 fraggle said:first image What's up with the parental advisory sticker on the Doom 3 box? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
fraggle Posted January 28, 2012 Compared to some other people it's pretty modest :) The Doom comic is pretty infamous. If you haven't seen it already: scans of the comic, the dramatization, and the Doom wiki article about it. From what I understand I think it was originally handed out to fans, then every copy of the Id anthology came with a copy of it as well. I think it also came free with a certain copy of Playstation magazine? DoomUK said:What's up with the parental advisory sticker on the Doom 3 box? I don't know. I don't think I've really noticed it before. It's not part of the box and seems to have been stuck on, and it certainly wasn't me who did it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Mexican Doomguy Posted January 29, 2012 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-Doom-Pink-Demon-Pewter-model-1996-1997-SUPER-RARE-Pinky-DOOM66606-/160725338619?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256bfa09fb It's a super rare figurine of the pinky demon that I have just found on Ebay. Too bad I ran out of money right now... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted January 29, 2012 Meh - if I had a cent for every "very rare", "super rare" and "ultra rare" item currently on eBay, I could probably afford a new top-of-the-range coffee maker. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Well, DOOM Reaper miniatures are pretty rare... And they cost almost a DOOM game... And this is a cheap starting bidding... I don't see the problem... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Face23785 Posted January 29, 2012 I guess I have more than I thought. PC: Ultimate Doom Doom 2 Final Doom Maximum Doom Master Levels A ton of wads that I downloaded from /newstuff that I never get around to playing Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil Console: Doom 64 PSX Doom The 4 Doom novels and the 2 Doom3 novels The Doom movie 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I don't see the problem... "Rare" is a much abused word in eBay listings. While some Doom miniatures probably warrant that label, others (like the pinky, which was one of several Doom 3 pre-order giveaways) are definitely only "uncommon". Not that that matters if you don't have one and manage to get it cheap. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Pinky may be just uncommon, but this bidding is way cheaper than other DOOM figurines. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

GreyGhost Posted February 7, 2012 Latest additions to the collection - either eBay's listing gods smiled on me and kept the snipers at bay, or I paid too much. Higher resolution available on request (1024x768 - 199k) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Cire Posted May 30, 2012 I ordered used copy's of Depths of Doom Trilogy, Doom Collector's Edition (2003 version) and Doom II a week ago and they arrived today. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were in near mint condition. The only bad thing is that the DoDT was missing the box and manual. I intend to continue collecting more Doom stuff in the future. I will put up photos later. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
