DeathevokatioN Posted May 12, 2010 Skulltag has an option in the display menu that lets you disable "Alpha" that changes the way you see cloaked spectres and sprites in a way which looks a lot like the way they originally did, which in my opinion looks more badass and less visible so they can make you shit your pants in darker sections, heheh. I'm not really familiar with different source ports yet, but is there a way I can do this in GL mode in GZDoom by turning something on or off or something? As much as I think Software mode looks great, I get annoying sound problems related to my sound card that give me searing headaches, so I'd rather not play in that mode. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

If you get headaches in software mode you should get headaches in hardware accel mode. If you hear high pitched whining noises, check your sound connections for interference. To do the effect in OpenGL, a manual drawing approch is required. I don't understand how people go to the bathroom when they get scared, never happened to me. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
