gba doom question an apologize

Hi, my fellow Doomers. I want to apologize for being abroad from Doomworld (4 weeks) without telling you. Well, maybe not to many may have missed me :)

I had some terrible days, without motivation, I felt like maybe maybe a plant feels :/

But: Doom has kept and still keeps me busy, I love that game and would never give up playing or hanging around on Doomworld. Since I do not have many real-life contacts... oh, I would also visit here if I had hundreds of friends :)

A question about the GBA Doom:

This game has finaly arrived in Germany, where I am living in, but in a version I am not sure about. Usually all Doom games are banned here and GBA Doom is not banned in Germany, hmm. I have heard, that the GBA Doom available in Germany has *gasp* GREEN blood. Could someone tell me if the US version also has green blood? If not - then its a censored version, grrrr.

Apparently you haven't been keeping up with DOOM news. Yes, the American version does have green blood. I fail to see what you're gasping about. It's not that it's censored or anything...it's Nintendo's fault. The GBA was meant for kids, and when they heard that DOOM was going to be made for the GBA, they had to "tone it down". Oh, and it's ActiVision's fault too. Yet...hypocrisy is obvious since MK Advance is M rated.

yea i know it is gay that they made the blood green for that reason. but it has to do more with the bad press doom got cause of the last few school shootings. if MK got the same recent bad press it would be the other way around
