Seems like if there is no exit in a credit level it would not be required.

I thought this was an interesting map with potential for a good nightmare-stroller but sadly it just couldn't be completed because of the imps in the exit room, as on nightmare they just stay put and shoot. That was my thinking. Then I actually tried it (by moving the player starting point near the exit in my practice wad). With about two tries I realized that the imps do move (after they're activated) when the door is closed, and with one or two tries they usually align so that it's possible to trigger the switch... The game was on! About 250 attempts and I made it to the exit. There is much time to save here and I might do better some other time. I take the ending very carefully (and slowly), collecting all the health and armor I can. (Which was fortunate since I got down to 5% health.)
