New Doomguy drawing

Hey guys, I haven't posted here since '09.

Finished a Doomguy drawing last night, just felt like drawing him, since Doom 4 was on my mind. (Still no news about it huh?)

Anyway, I'm trying to improve my artwork every day, and I think I am, but I still have a way to go. I'm going to an art college in the fall, so I'm excited for that.

Stylish drawing. It sports cool minimalistic aesthetics without too much distracting bells and whistles. Though what I like best about it is probably that it perfectly captures the raw killer instinct of the Doomguy. Because who else would voluntarily ditch firearms and engage big and scary monsters from Hell face to face with nothing but melee weapons!

I like it. for some reason the brass nuckles remind me of shredder's from TMNT. maybe he's giving an imp off-screen a taste of his own medicine.
