So I've discovered something interesting (maybe some already know, but was new to me) when I uploaded a Twitch VOD of a playthrough of EARTH.WAD to YouTube back in April and noticed a few sources coming from YouTube due to getting copyright claims. Here are the sources

I'm looking for MAP03, MAP04, MAP07, MAP13, MAP21, MAP23, MAP25, MAP26, MAP27, MAP28, MAP30 and the Title Screen music

Maps 03, 04, 27 and the title screen music honestly sound like they were made specifically for the project by the mappers themselves, but that's really just an assumption.
MAP23 is from Mock 2's MAP10.
MAP25 has the name Matt Anderson in the metadata, maybe you can figure out something from that. According to what's already on the wiki page, he sequenced some songs by Old Man's Child that were used in the wad, so it could possibly be another one of those.
MAP26 is something called "!! The RAGE of Mankind !!", apparently.
MAP28 is carmid3, used in Alien Vendetta's MAP01.
MAP30 was also used in DMP2012, but unfortunately I know nothing about it, so my own request at identifying it should still be somewhere in this thread...

In Doom 2 In Name Only Russian Edition (which boy is it way better than the other one), Map01 uses a rather low quality ogg music that's really moody.

In the wad description it says the song is "VA Space music - goal attainment" and with that I tried searching it online.

Maybe I'm doing something really wrong but I really cannot find this song anywhere. Anyone here could find it? Cause I would love a higher quality version of it.

There was this rather 'Gundam Wing' -esque track I heard from watching an Aquarius199 video. Not sure exactly as to its source, as the CREDITS lump for the WAD itself lists nothing about music sources. Renamed it to D_RUNNIN as the original was rather questionable.

The song is a MIDI rendition of "Hunger Made Them Desperate" from Thunder Force III on the Sega Genesis/Megadrive.

No idea, but I did find several compilation albums that have a space theme. I suppose VA stands for "various artists"...

I was finally able to identify another mystery tune from Hellcore 2.0, level 11's music. It is from the game Hardwood Solitaire II from Silver Creek Entertainment, and the title is "Moonlit Journey". Listen below:

I can't find the file right now so I won't tell you what it's called (I totally wouldn't have deliberately deleted it though), but the title screen midi was made by me.

 

Edit: Judging by the thread, it seems the map07 midi may be a song by Fleetwood Mac?

 

MAP13 music, among a few others, was also contributed by me... but where did I get it from? I remembered downloading a classical music wad, so I poked around and found this. From there I could identify the song - Mozart's Jupiter symphony!

 

This has been a fun nostalgia trip!

 

I have a question of my own... this midi was included in BPRD's abandoned Impo project from 2005, but he doesn't seem to know who made it. Can anyone identify it?

I sent a private message MTrop to see if he could help with some of the remaining MIDIs. Thanks to him and everyone who contributed, most of the songs are now identified (in my previous post).

Ooh, TNT: Evilution, haven't played that in a long time. After searching in the DoomWiki for other uses of this song, I think I first heard it in Coffee Break - I was a bit late to the party when it comes to Final Doom. Thank you very much for helping me out with this one, it was driving me nuts!
