Reaper978 Posted July 25, 2011 Many of these shovelware discs are... freaking hilarious. http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/wadsofwads.jpg http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/Megadoom3.jpg http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/img196.jpg Maximum DEATH for DOOM II! THE MAXIMUM DOOM BATTLE! Doom "Heaven"? Doom Fever!? I especially love "for the most successful gore feast adventure ever to hit the PC" http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/img108.jpg 1001 Nights of Doom!? "Beyond the Meltdown" has a biohazard symbol instead of a nuclear symbol. http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/img106.jpg Then there is this masterpiece: http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/img078.jpg and... http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/CD%20%286%29.jpg Someone like it hotter. A lot hotter. Fuck yeah. http://www.addoncollector.spielepedia.de/cover/supercharged.jpg PFFThahahaha... "SUPERDEAD", "SUPERGAMES", "SUPERPOWER", "THE Q FILES", "THE TOON PARADE", and who could forget "Ultra Level Add-On" and the creatively named "Violence in 3D". As for the strange screenshots pointed out by the OP, I guess they look kind of cool. Not all that amazing, though. 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted July 25, 2011 I wonder what sort of noxious substances people have been injecting/inhaling while creating CD inlays. Here's a couple from my collection. This one I acquired last year, don't ask me what that weird looking creature's supposed to be. (700x700 - 212k) Then there's this one, with it's mutant centipede and 3D rendered minarets. (700x700 - 188k) 0 Share this post Link to post
Optimus Posted August 17, 2011 Somehow I'd like to download and collect all those WAD shovelware just for nostalgic reasons. I found this great site with numerous shoverware CDs and there are some Doom ones too. Now, there is no ftp connection, one needs to use some website downloader to get them, unfortunatelly and the speed is very slow too :P. Apparently the site is there for historical reasons but somehow I gotta get'em! 0 Share this post Link to post
NoneeLlama Posted August 17, 2011 Optimus, you can use HTTrack for downloading from cd.textfiles.com. Also, I would remove your first link, since that site has a lot of warez, and that is against the forum rules. 0 Share this post Link to post
