Space Skies

Does anyone know where I can get some decent space skies for use in prboom+. I don't really want to use the one from Hell revealed but can't seem to find any others, also please don't suggest the one from TNT because that's not good at all.

For my space-themed wad I use this one:

Simple, but it works.

Off the top of my head, essel's E2 sky in the CC4 texture resource might work, if you like blue.

I can dig them out for you from the wads. But you may already have them:

Earth from Moon = The Darkest Hour
Nebula = Eternal DooM IV: Return From Oblivion
Saturn = Eternal DooM IV: Return From Oblivion
Generic Night Sky = Temple of the Ancients

If the wad takes place in a universe like ours, how about using real photos of deep space? Like here: http://hubblesite.org/gallery/album/

Also, image-Google for "deep space".

Printz, the thing on getting real photos is to get them to tile horizontally.

Yeah but space skies can be easily tiled horizontally, considering they're mostly black.

Not when it's something like this, however you can still tweak it to tile horizontally pretty easily with some mirror effects.

I agree, good job keeping the lighting consistent.

That could be used to great effect in lighting the map itself.
