how to edit the doom2 outro-screen??????

if you exit doom2 trough mainmenu...

it is changed in some pwads. how is this done?

You meant the end text screen? You can edit it with XWE (at least it says so in the page, I haven't tried that feature myself). All windoze sourceports skip that one tho.

There was a tool called TED which people used to do this, probably still available from cdrom.com
