Well then, what weapon have you "been in love with" since you first saw it?

Mine's basically everything based on the minigun (chaingun).

Just to clear certain things up: I'm asking about fav weapon in general - that means weapons in real life, weapons in movies (most of these are real life weapons, duh) and weapons in games.
So it's not just game weapons that I'm asking about.

Real-Life - Colt "Master Key" carbine or LeMats revolver

About game weapons, Wasteland HL new beta 3 isn't released yet, but it sure has some nice looking arsenal.

the jumping land mines that chase you in the chaos dm mod, for quake 2, quake 3, and ut. you through them on the ground and they chase your enemies down, wile tunting them in a high pitched, squeky voice... imagen munchkins chaseing you with knifes. heh heh heh.

but i also have a soft spot for perfect darks farsite. it did shit all in single player, but in dm... heh heh heh.

oh yes, and the ut sniper rifle was voted best weapon ever by pc powerplay.

My own fav weapons in some games:

Doom (any Doom game): By concept - chaingun. By feel - sb shotgun (db shotgun's a close second)

Quake (1): By concept - super nailgun/perforator. By feel - Hmm, the only weapon which feels good in Quake1 is the Rocket launcher.

Quake 2: By both concept and feel - chaingun.

Q3A: By concept and feel - plasmagun (THEY SHOULD'VE PUT THE CHAINGUN IN Q3A INSTEAD OF WAITING UNTIL TA!!!)

Hexen: All-around - Quitus (for those who don't know: big magic sword which burns with cool, green fire)

RtCW: All around - Venom gun (chaingun).
