And what would that error be?

As soon as I launch the Absolution app,it says that bullsht with 'sorry for the inconvenience' and send or dont send, you know what I mean.

Apparently, it is totally possible to diagnose problems magically and telepathically just based on "weird errors and shit" without any insight on your hardware/software configuration. And unicorns eat rainbow candy.

Okay dude, you could have JUST ASKED and I would've told you.Don't start om me with unicorns and rainbows and crap.Okay, that computer has:

P3 processor 800 Mhz
256 MB RAM DDR1
No dedicated video adapter,32mb
20GB HDD

It's just some old 8yo fujitsu lifebook.happy now?

Since you probably knew it would boil down to posting your specs sooner or later (amirite?), you should have done it from the very first post. Or did you hope that somehow saying that it had crashed would suffice and tried avoiding posting specs for as long as possible? The fact that information had to be pried from you little by little doesn't help when it's YOU asking for help. That being said...

This doesn't sound good. If it doesn't have up-to-date OpenGL support at all, you can't run Absolution (and probably a lot of other stuff, as well).

Some sites suggest that the Lifebook should have an Ati Mobility Radeon so the presence of OpenGL alone should not be a problem (?), unless you have a more budget version with an S3 Savage or somesuch.

In my experience this adapter SHOULD work with Absolution, I had used it in a Compaq Presario 910EA from 2002, but with the video RAM set to 64 MB. I could set it to 16, 32 and 64 through the BIOS, since a lot of games would not run at all with just 32 MB or less. Of course, this is at the expense of main RAM, if you can set it at all on the Fujitsu.

If you get a crash report dialog with a "send or don't send" choice, that means you have a crash report. You should also have a button to save that report to disk. Then you can zip it up if it isn't already zipped, and upload it somewhere, and link to it. That might help.

That said, judging from this very recent thread that's still on the first page, I'm going to bet that you should try this.

OK man, thanks.BTW,I didn't say the specs because I thought it was an OS compatibility issue.Seems that the Fujitsu ends up in the junkyard, after all...

Well, try Gez's suggestion first. I've seen Absolution running on a (desktop) Pentium III with a Riva TNT and 128 MB of RAM, so probably you're just about right from a hardware standpoint.

I hereby propose the above quoted phrase as [PROTOTYPE]'s custom title. Welcome to the community, I guess ;-)
