Doomish music in a digital pet...

Someone (not me) had a handheld digital virtual pet called "Tamagotchi iD L", and had a pet character called "Metal Kuromametchi". An item can be given for the pet to use, and when an electric guitar item is selected, the pet plays this short tune (I recorded it to an MP3):

...which sounds rather like At Doom's Gate. I do know that guitar riff is very common, but I didn't expect to hear it on a Japanese virtual pet.
