Doom 2 on the App store?

Does anyone know when doom 2 will come out for the appstore or if it even will? i cant find a whole lot of info on it. I did buy and play doom 1 on the app store so i imagine they would release the sequel.

I don't think so. I remember buying the first one of the appstore when it came out several years ago. If they were ever planning on making a port for Doom II, it would have been released by now.

Off topic, but non-BFG Doom 3 is still on App Store for Mac. I hope it also works...

Doom 2 will not be realeased for ios. but if yours is jailbroken you can get a file browser and replace doom 1 wad with doom 2 wad. thats why there is a "doublshotgun" shadow in the app.

Given that there's no BFG Edition for Mac, I can't see it being taken down any time soon.
