Has the standard version of Doom2 on Steam been updated to the BFG Edition Iwad?

Anyone who has Doom2 from Steam that can check this?

The BFG Edition's IWAD lacks a TITLEPIC and contains some menu graphic changes for menuitems that were completely replaced, so it wouldn't be functional in the DOSBox 1.9 releases on Steam.

A few days after BFG edition was released. It pisses me off, especially since they weren't even included in BFG to begin with.

I'm guessing the main reason they modified stuff is the red cross issue, adding Germany's demands since they were at it, but that does not affect stuff published before Red Cross brought the issue to justice. So id and their parent only have to do it when they modify and republish a DOOM title.
