Do you think it's going to be ready by the end of this year? As a TNT2 playtester, I can say that TNT2 is unlikely to get a release this year, theres still a few maps left and the soundtrack to be sorted out, along with a lot of playtesting, both singleplayer and multiplayer. It is as they say, when a project is 80% complete, your only 20% done. I get the feeling this project is only waiting on Antroid going by the thread title? 0 Share this post Link to post

Don't worry, I wasn't actually upset by the thread title, I'm just constantly ever so slightly distressed because I'm keeping this project frozen and it's not even like I'm really working that much on the level. By the time I get home from work I can't be arsed, and on weekends I usually have things I'd much rather do than replay my level over and over, testing and tweaking the thing placement. At least I finished the little visual/layout changes I wanted to do. And not sure if joseph has completely finished with map 16, it looked like it was pretty much done barring a couple of fixes. scifista42 Posted September 12, 2013 That reminds me, I should start doing the tweaks :) I'm starting my last high-school year with a maturita exam in the end, which... requires preparation. And I generally have a lot of other (non-Doom) things in mind - where the biggest of these things is a huge "emptiness" heh. Also besides Doom I'm now very impressed by Wrack. That said, I may have less time this year but will definitely try to get my part of work done soon, and would like to take a role in UDINO too :), as I enjoy mapping a lot. 0 Share this post Link to post

Because right after I'll find out an UDINO thread is started, I'll rush in and scream for a certain map I already got special ideas for, the most name-fitting ideas. Tristan Posted September 12, 2013 I know Jay said in this thread that he's going for more direction with the maps, but I think essentially it's going to be pretty much the same guidelines. It was more just enforcement stuff like the Cyber/Manc/Spider and BFG rule on this project. I'd imagine when he puts the thread up, his maps and my maps would be pencilled in on the initial list. Antroid Posted October 7, 2013 I'm somewhat happy to say that I've gotten back into the old Doom mooD and I'll start vigorously testing and adjusting the gameplay of map24 after work on the weekdays.
