@DynastyLORD In general, a thread should have some kind of actual content, whether it's an idea for people to discuss, news, or educational info. You can still make fun threads, they just need to have a little effort behind them. If there's no discussion to be had, then the thread has no value and just takes up space. You can post whatever you'd like on your profile, though. It's good to lurk around for a while in order to see what kind of topics are tolerated here. I'm not a moderator, just giving you a heads-up. If everyone was allowed to create threads just to say good morning/goodnight, the place would be a mess. Just be more mindful of what you post and don't treat the forums like you're on Facebook or Twitter and you'll be okay.
