Straferunning in SP games

Oops...I guess I should have voted for the second option, because I do use it against cyberdemons. Otherwise, its too much of a hastle.

I really don't remember when it was that I realized straferunning was faster. I think once I just pressed ALT in addition to shift and forward arrow key, and I was like, "whoa, it's fast!" =)

Anyway, I voted for option #2, only if I'm going back through a huge level that I've already totally wiped out, or if I need it to achieve a secret. Otherwise, there's not much of a point to it IMO.
