A long while back, I posted a pack of 32 MIDI files for use in Doom wads. Recently I've created/fixed quite a few more, the total is now at 45. I really hope you guys get some use outta these in your maps!

I could never get enough of NIN Head Like A Hole in midi format when playing any Doom DM. Sin by NIN is also another great tune in MIDI format for DM.

Some U2 tunes can be good in midi format, however I do recommend have them slightly edited.

This U2 song in MIDI format sounds loosely based off NIN A Warm Place in MIDI format, (One of the DWANGO5 maps used that NIN MIDI)

Oh and I sent you a PM.... I'm also on zdaemon now if you want to do some quick DM

I agree about NIN and thanks for the youtube link I'm subscribing. Also while I'm here I plan on making a project I'll pm you about it sometime.

Similar chord progression and melody in places, plus lots of instruments sound the same in MIDI. I agree though.

Somewhat off-topic, Crystal Japan by David Bowie was the song that A Warm Place was (unintentionally) based off of:

Anyhow I'm not much of a fan of MIDI covers of pop/rock songs but there's still some good stuff in this MIDI pack nonetheless.

Thanks for the responses you guys. @plums: I generally am not a fan of pop music either, but a few friends and my fiancee had some songs they wanted in Doom, and that's where this whole thing started. Anything more metal oriented in there is what comes from my tastes, but this ended up being something really fun to work on and challenged my so-called music knowledge ;)

If I create anything else I'll let you know right away, I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff. Feel free to use any of these in your WADs as well!

Hey it's been a while since I've seen you on Doomworld lol. What project do you plan on doing? I also saw your review of my DM wad "SPACE STATION!" and I appreciate your input.

I personally am not a David Bowie fan, nor do I know much of his music, but I do know that NIN did make A Warm Place loosely based off Crystal Japan.
Crystal Japan sounds too creepy in my opinion.... I like NIN's A Warm Place a lot more.

I noticed one bug with it and for some reason it doesn't run with Zdaemon. I haven't tested it on Odamex though but usually if something fails to run on zdaemon, it more than likely won't run on Odamex.

The bug: Script error, "ANIMDEFS" line 22:
Unknown texture SW2CMT

Do you know how to fix that? I'm not that savvy on fixing bugs in pwads.
