All other sound effects work great. Answering my own question for anyone else having this issue. Updated to gzdoom 3.3 fixed the problem. Bytefyre Posted December 7, 2020 Hello! I had a question regarding the high-resolution skybox used for Map 31, which I've only ever seen appear when using glboom-plus. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to configure the options in GZDoom to use that lighter skybox as opposed to the darker one. Finnisher Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) Recently got back into classic doom and was recommended by several to play Sunlust. Started a semi-blind playthrough and up to map 7 so far and loving it! (Semi-blind as in I have pre-trained some maps before recording but this my first playthrough of Sunlust overall). Played on HMP with commentary. Take a peek if you're interested. apichatpong Posted June 28, 2023 (edited) Hello, Still going my (very slow) way through this deeply impressive wad. A real grower ! I was first impressed by map30 god machine* which is still my favorite map, every wad I played considered, then after a first approach with cheats and brutally non strategic play, I started to cheat but trying to play "like real" and realized, beyond the catharsis, how excellent these maps are esthetically, for their atmospheres and the great balance between fights and exploration. Now I'm around the middle of the wad on ITYTDmax (I know, it's a joke...) and, at the same time, trying to improve my non-combat skills with nomo and NM100 categories (what a simple pleasure to be able, starting from zero, to get some short-cuts (map 6, map 8) even though I still can't do glide). I also try to reach all the secrets, official and non-official. 4 secrets are still out of my league : Megasphere of map 6 (don't know why but can't do the strafe jump), the switch and run of map 27 (but here i'm quite close... fuck these barriers pillars), the non-official of map 21 (another strafe jump problem I think) and, of course, the switch and run from map 26 ! (but when you see what's waiting in the secret, you realize this is not for newbies like me)... OK, this is my life but, here is my question, because I do have a question : In map 27 you can see near the yellow key, above the open room, some invulnerability spheres. Are they reachable or is it trolling like the map 01 BFG ? Sorry if this question already had an answer in the thread, I went through it quite quickly and maybe missed it... * I hope that, one day, i'll be able to express all my feelings about this masterpiece...
