So, I was trying to record my first demo to celebrate my 13th birthday, and... well...

So... yeah. Obviously I'll want to re-record for my birthday.

Welp it would be real rare if a first try ends being a good demo, you should give the map more tries before you get frustrated enough to post a failed demo.

Thanks, I wasn't sure what the Iwad was. At first I thought it was something like finaldoom.exe but that sounded too long and, in the end, I just assumed it used the doom2.exe file.

Changed it now!


EDIT: Funnily enough, I did loads of practice runs and found it way easier with GLBoom+ than Chocolate Doom. :/ I dunno, I just seemed to bump into all the geometry more when practicing with Chocolate Doom.

Ideally, I would have recorded with GLBoom but I don't know how to and CBA to make a .bat file and mess about with all that.

Man, I wish -record was a simple feature in the launcher. XS

I use this .bat
prboom-plus.exe -iwad doom2 -file hr2final -warp 12 -skill 4 -record h212 -complevel 2

Can just modify it to

Glboom-plus.exe -iwad plutonia -file plutonia -warp 1 -skill 4 -record pl01 -complevel 4

That should work.
And I wish we could restart demos without the need of exiting and opening prboom again.
