I'll play around with it and see if I can make it fit in there, after the thread's settled. Same with Fisk's soldier (wish he hadn't tagged him over the eyes though). Good stuff. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
The_MártonJános Posted September 17, 2014 Related to others I suck at graffiti but at least I've done it. Oh, and needs further remap. Hope won't clash that hard. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

obake Posted September 24, 2014 http://www.mediafire.com/view/btc1jepdab1wg3b/sig.jpg# It may not be my best work, but it is what I was able to come up with during an extremely busy few weeks. Enjoy! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Soundblock Posted September 24, 2014 Hambourgeois said:Assuming this is still going[...] Yep. You did not make an ass out of you and me. It'll be running as long as people contribute, up to the point where the texture set is made available. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Soundblock Posted September 30, 2014 Here's a collage using some of the above. It be my first Doom burn. ...sorry about the double post - I figured thread subscribers might want the notification. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Soundblock Posted September 30, 2014 Hey thanks, its a nice collab. I'll make another wide-wall collage if there are enough new entries. If you made something before, just chip in with some different ones or ask your pixel-pushing friendo to make something. Even just random lines and doodles, a color-blob, permanent marker scrawls or that grafitti generated thingy (which is awesome btw). The large pieces look better when it looks like the wall space has been competed for by different taggers/artists. MOAR! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Walter confetti Posted September 30, 2014 Whoa that's pretty awesome soundblock! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
The_MártonJános Posted September 30, 2014 That's it Soundblock! I'm gonna collaborate to the second montage, if that arrives. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

gemini09 Posted October 1, 2014 I feel like I'm leeching tremendous credit there, as if I were the artist that painted that sweet Imp and explosion art, but with that said, it's an absolutely awesome sight especially for myself to behold. Great job on the wall graffiti. I thought a lot of the contributions were kind of silly, but it turned out pretty amazing. Looking forward to the actual map even more now, as just that single wall alone looks promising, but I also find it inspiring for my own project. :) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

You more than make up for any lack of grafitti geniality through the finely detailed and expertly wrapped genius of your maps, Cell. I hope I make a texture set worthy of your level design consideration before this thread is done. And anyway, the above should be perfectly usable for the next large piece, I'll try it as one of the big backdrop layers. All in all I think I'll be able to use a little piece of most all the entries so far actually. To keep the thread warm, and to reference a historical piece of grafitti, here's a WIP texture from a classic movie's big piece. Anyone recognise the reference? http://www.monstercute.com/uploads/2/8/1/9/2819457/8444510.png?477 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Avoozl Posted October 8, 2014 That graffiti looks better suited to a Duke Nukem 3D texture imo. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Xegethra Posted October 8, 2014 This looks quite fun, I'll be sure to make some stuff for it. *Edit* Well, I had a go and these two are what I have. I have included the xcf files so you can make any edits more easily if you want. http://www.mediafire.com/download/tzv5q88ee77xc33/Doom_Walls.rar 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

To get a believable tagged down area of town, a variety of motifs would be needed. Better to have a few offbeat variants than repeating the same texture too many times. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Six Posted October 8, 2014 It's quite different to what's been presented, but it's something. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Soundblock Posted October 23, 2014 Love it Six. Some of these pieces stand perfectly well on their own while others collage better. Here's another one I threw up fast, might tweak it a little. Still working on the texture set. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

The_MártonJános Posted October 23, 2014 Someone who has a skill for it should really paint a bloody pentagram. nataS liaHSoundblock said:Making a quick testmap to check out that skyfences are working.
