Slade - something happens when I scroll through sprites

I used to be able to go through sprites without having to stop one at a time, but now the sprite shown in "entry contents" freezes and doesn't change until I stop going down with the down arrow. It is very annoying, does anyone know what might be happening? I already tried reinstalling SLADE 3.
