You know what it reminds me of is a certain map early on in the Starship Troopers mod for Duke Nukem 3D -- lot of grey and nuclear green. I like the look of it!

now i just need to do some small detailing there and here and i will done with this room but not with the map yet

^ Nice. I think the corridor would benefit from some noticeable light/shadow-casting moreso than any other kind of detailing.

Not an in-game shot or anything, but I recently started working on v2 (from scratch) of a little node.js thing that scrapes this thread for images and saves em all, eventually to be displayed on a separate site just for viewing shots posted in this thread in a streamlined way. The code is still really rough in a lot of places and there's a lot I'm not sure exactly how to do properly yet, but I finally got it so that the scraper can find/save not only images posted as actual images on this page, but also any images that are just imgur links, meaning that it would also find the image in this post and save it!

Oh wow, glad to see you've made progress! I also improved a lot in NodeJS, I'm close to set up a database of 3500 Doom videos, each gathered by an automated program.

Maybe find\make more variations of bookcases? The potential coolness of Doom libraries is almost always nullified by the fact that it's just same texture repeated 1000 times (see Resurgence Map26 or whatever the number was).

Bad news for the very few who were waiting for "fortress of misery". I saved my map today and something unexpected happened :(

It's very bad.

Tried reopening it with a backup, nothing... It's gone.

Oh well, guess I'll have to start from scratch. Really sucks though. Like, 5 months of hard work went to dust.

Finished this one:

Ended up switching to Boom Format, which allowed to me to simplify the lighting and address a few other issues on other maps.

Started this one:

First test area for another additional WTMDG map.

I like the first one, very slick look. Makes the think of some sort of Doom-type Goetheanum in a way.
