There's also 4-barreled smoothbore shotgun, the FAMARS Rombo, but that's just produced in 28 gauge and .410 bore, not really as powerful as 4 regular 12 gauge barrels.

That is sweet. Didn't know that quad barrels existed. The 1216 shotgun is pretty sweet, too.

Yup, every Demon was made out of Clay and they digitized the sprites for them, they used Toy Guns for the Sprites as well, dunno about the Super Shotgun though, It'd be Interesting If they used a real Double-Barrel Shotgun for It, sort of like they did with the Chainsaw actually being a real Chainsaw, only Romero could tell.

(I also know this thread Is three months old, but what the Hell, Right?).

The SSG was an edit of the normal shotgun done by hand. This is a known fact just by looking at its reload animations, don't even need to ask Romero about it.

Ah, though I'd like to know how that Revenant got that armor when In fact his clay model doesn't even HAVE armor at all (Off-Topic, I know).

There was an earlier alpha sprite and pickup sprite of the Super Shotgun as a pump action weapon.

Yah, but that was totally different. The final really shares nothing of the Shotgun. I disagree with Soda, it seems. If anything, it was drawn entirely by hand, though perhaps drawn over at least one of the shotgun sprites. The base frame could have been drawn or based on a photo of an actual or prop Double Barreled. If anything, I still think it's possible that the base frame is capped from Evil Dead II. *shrugs*

Reloading is derived from the original shotgun's reloading frames. The C frame is clearly an edit, the B frame's origins are less apparent, but still traceable.

Other frames are simple and could've been drawn from scratch.
