I'd like to second this. The maps are surprisingly playable and some of them are downright jaw-dropping (To the point of wondering how somebody could possibly make that in 24 hours)


Also, I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I couldn't find a good time. My Idgames review was supposed to be five stars, but I accidentally hit submit before selecting 5 :( Trying to be a smartass has its problems sometimes.

I only noticed after going back, seems like some guy got mad about it or something. So I thought I'd apologize in case anybody cared.

Well, actually the wad was in the works for a lot longer than 24 hours, plus it has more than 32 maps so the title is 100% misleading. Good marketing tactics lol.

Obviously we're talking about the release date, not the project start date. Lots of projects take more than one year to complete, there's even a category for the longest development time.

There seems to be more flexibility for mods though, as past Cacoward winners have won when they were neither begun in the year that they won, nor completed in the year that they had won, but instead had been updated with a major update in the year that they won.

Not many are able to work with polyobjects as they require making sectors and rooms that are specifically only used for the polyobjects.

As far as serious nominations go, Total Chaos definitely deserves some kind of award when it eventually releases, supposedly an open beta will release in April-June. I cannot think of a single mod on any source port of Doom that impresses me as much as this does.

Er, thanks, but... Being a Doom wad enthusiast but an irresponsible lazy bastard like myself is not really worth what the award is supposed to be, IMO, it's for those who dedicated real effort and time to do responsible actions.

I would like to nominate Tarnsman for the Espi award. He has also unified the community at large in vociferous agreement on three counts, which are as follows:
1. He has the dumbest doom stream on twitch.
2. He is "no fun allowed" personified.
3. He is possibly a monstrous homogay. (Yes, the consensus all included the word "possibly" in some capacity)
