Well, you guys probably thought I dropped off the face of Phobos. Ya, I know, it's been awhile (and might be again) but I was bored and decided to review a map from 1995. Enjoy. This guy deserves some recognition for his work.

You could start by putting the author's name in the review. I found the reviewers name but not the map author's.

So, I picked a set of Doom maps from my recent sync with the /IDgames database called Betalabs. Worth a look.

I liked this a lot. I still think Doom is at its best with smaller rooms/spaces and this level of detail.

I loved the detail. Absolutely awesome in that respect. Gave it my highest marks for level design. Very well done.

I looked - I really did, but I didn't find that thread that they keep putting my review updates in - anyway.... moving on

I reviewed Stein - in my opinion a real stinker. Bottom of the barrel kind of stuff but that's just my opinion. Maybe I'm being a dick and putting the fact that I didn't get a raise this year into my opinion of this set of maps, but I don't think that's it.
If any of you have the stomach, feel free to check it out and tell me if I'm being a complete asshole in my review or if I nailed it.

How far did you get into it?

i've played all the maps, and is ok for a wolfenstein 3D like map pack...

Sure is nothing professional at all, but is nice for a play for me.

I was bored out of my gord, especially in level 3- which is why I stopped playing
