Intermission definition: only for endings?

Intermission standardly ends (=leads to the next map) when the player presses use, unless otherwise is specified (GotoTitle, Link...). Just omit these commands.

Maybe I think I know why. I tried to use the "deathsequence" command so when the player dies the sequence starts. But although my map also have a "next" command, I don't know if that can be triggered by a deathsequence.

In other terms, does that deathsequence allow to jump to the next map?
