EricHerrera Posted May 27, 2002 Remember when I was posting (in the old forum) a while back about some Direct 3D games running awfully slow on geforce cards? I feel like an idiot. Anyway for those who don't already know, (I found this answer at PlanetShogo.com), they have a registry key available for download that works with the latest detonator drivers and allows you change a couple settings that will give a speed boost to most all games that rely on Direct3D drivers. Anyway i know this is a bit off topic, but for those of us that love a spped boost witout having to upgrade, this might just help. Anyway enough rambling check it out. 0 Share this post Link to post
DooMBoy Posted May 27, 2002 Odd....despite the fact I have Direct3D drivers on this here computer, I can only run most 3d games and source ports in OpenGL....I have a Voodoo3 by the way. 0 Share this post Link to post

EricHerrera Posted June 1, 2002 I upgraded from my Voodoo 3 2000 to this card. The only reason my GeForce ran so bad with Direct3D apps was that unless you enable the tweak, or download an external tweaking app, most games enable VSYNC which kills off my computer and its speed. 0 Share this post Link to post
