kermode Posted April 14, 2015 What do the following textures look like in other people's versions of doom2.wad? - SW1BRCOM - SW1BRN1 - SW1STARG - SW1STON2 - SW1STONE I wonder because in mine they all look the same. & when I look in XWE they're all made out of the same patches (WALL62_1 & SW1S0). Judging by the names something doesn't seem right here. I would have thought that SW1STARG would be a switch on STARG3 or something, rather than WALL62_1. I wonder if I accidentally changed them somehow but the SW2 versions of all of them are the same too. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

There are some other cases in Doom 2 where a texture was removed despite all of its patches still being used in other textures. It was probably just an automated process that pruned texture entries that weren't used in any maps. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
