An Android port of Doom 3: BFG Edition has been released for NVIDIA's SHIELD ANDROID TV and SHIELD TABLET devices. The port is available for purchase on Google Play.

Good question. I can't easily find it, which might mean it's not available. My understanding is that as the creator of the software, id can attach a different license to the code for use by the Shield port creators if they so choose: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.en.html#ReleaseUnderGPLAndNF

Yea, this is correct. There's no source available for the Shield version.
