Wad-archive has a version with 14 maps. The moddb page of Brutal Doom (news from October 2013) links to the same wad-archive page. Do you have any evidence that a version with more maps was ever released?

What happened to Beyond Hell and Earth anyway?  Its almost like the developer disappeared beyond hell and earth.

From what I can tell, it stopped development, letting the Starter Pack campaign take over. Lets not forget that BYHAE is BD19 specific (the guy above me made a 20b edition, but not the point). I don't think there are any plans to continue developing a mapset made for an old version of BD, and Mark is already working on the Starter Pack mapset.

 

Last I heard, he's doing a revamp of the Starter Pack that'll make the current one "look like SHIT." Just saying.
