Weapon is called the Bonebreaker, and the bone gets fragmented and the shards are launched akin to a shotgun blast

I think you need to add some white highlights to the center of the green veins, when they are at their maximum pulse size. Right now it's all the same value of green which makes it look like green vines instead of an energy pulse. Adding some white highlights will imply that the green is a shining light energy thing. Perhaps eliminate or tone down the very last frame of the energy pulse cycle, there is almost too much green here and it obscures the bone too much.

 

Otherwise, it's perfectly readable. I saw the sprite before I read your explanation of it, and I immediately understood I was looking at a hand holding a bone that was pulsing with energy and about to explode apart.

Working on some HUD mugs for Phobos, but I'm sure they're generic enough to have other uses.

EDIT: It's done.  Here they are all ready to go in a wad that should replace the default Doomguy mug.  Mainly made this because I'm not a big fan of the orange helmet recolor Phobos has in 150skins.wad.  I think this makes him feel a little more complete.  Credits to [SOMEONE ELSE] for the helmet and @Doomkid for the black Doomguy that I mashed together!

Skelegant's Doom Mower used to have a Monster skin addon, but it doesn't work in newer versions because she changed the lawnmower sprites.  So I fixed that!  Monster Zero is now available with the cool new red mower lol

Funnily enough, I've made something very similar for a Crash/DoomGirl player character !

For some reason I like the idea of the character and quickly composited a mini-mod from various ressources. Hope we can find out who actually is behind those helmet hudfaces. So I know who to properly credit.
I think the female hudface I mashed it with was made by @nxGangrel though.

Hey nice!  I actually started working on a very similar sprite, but abandoned it when I couldn't get a look I liked with the limited Doom color pallet. Might just steal this one for my GZDoom skins folder!

Nope, not me either, I always thought that it was Eriance/Amuscaria who made them as thats what I was told...

 

now I think of it it might have been NMN. its potentially his style/quality...

I'm obsessed with the sawed-off shotgun from Blood. I think it's just so satisfying, so I took it upon myself to make an upscaled version of it. It's definitely still a work in progress and by no means am I an artistic expert, but still. It's been a lot of fun to work on this. I downscaled the big PNGs just to make them more upload friendly, but if anyone wants me to post the raw ones, let me know.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: still WIP, and I know there's still pixel-garbage around the edges of the upscaled sprites
