I don't really have time to properly split these up and wadify them right now, but here's sprite sheets for a Doom 2 style Doom 64 marine.

First one should convert to Doom pallet without issue.  Second one is a little more faithful I think, but the purple visor isn't going to play nice with Doom 2. Last one retains classic Doom's light helmet because I've always liked that detail, and so should again work perfectly with Doom pallet.

I grabbed the sleeves off the Sniper skin from 150skins.wad, and the blue visor is based on one from Craneo (thanks! I was stuck on just the purple visor for too long before I saw that blue one!)

That's awesome. Thanks for providing the community with this (With credits given of course) :D

Another passive project while I avoid trying to make maps.
Attempts to make a skeletal version of NMN's Blademonkey
This would be aimed at being an Bone Guardian from Icewindale

Im running out of space on here, and looking into ZForum as a backup to put my older sprites.
Anyone able to tell me how to get a spot in the resource page, such as 'Tsrans Junkyard'.

It would be probably nice to have a custom sprite database somewhere. With credits and search etc. Not that I can do it or manage it.

There is Realm667 but  folk don't seem to add to it very often.  I'm not sure why.  It would be great if it was a bit more populated with more recent stuff.

To put it in as polite of terms as I am capable of, I suspect the "why" is at least in part because that site and its owner have been involved in multiple instances of drama that have a couple of times included the the owner making the repository inaccessible for periods of time.  I'm sure I am not the only person who's no longer particularly eager to have any dealings there.

Realm667 hosts "complete" monsters and weapons, with code, rather than sprites or spritesheets. A similar concept but just for the resources (no code) would definitely be a better fit for archiving stuff posted in this thread, if some enterprising soul is interested in doing a thing for that.

Agree with Xaser, Were Sprite Gremlins, not Code Imps.
I don't care much about drama, but then I don't engage much with the doom forums outside of code questions and sharing monsters.
Working on getting most of my older items uploaded on Imgur, and I will get a link on my profile.

"Opengameart.org"  is always an option, although, you would probably have to ask each sprite artist for not only their permission, but also what type of license each piece would have. Not to mention - I think that they only accept original sprites there, so anything derivative would be rejected.

Yeah, OpenGameArt really has a different goal in mind than Doom modding.  It's more about flippable assets for game dev.

I've been thinking of starting a "menagerie" thread, but I always think "as soon as I'm done this sprite sheet" - maybe I'll just pull the trigger when I get home today.  I know folks would find it useful not to have to paw through 100+ pages if they're looking for full sprite sheets, and as a way to post with the purpose of sharing with the community

That sounds like an amazing idea!
Something restricted to complete sheets only, with a method of standardization to them.
Though that would also result in this thread losing that element, and becoming more akin to the spriting carnival

Opengameart.org is definitely not for modified stock graphics, everything there should be your creation or used with permision. But their system would be very good for a nice sprite sheet archive. And some sprites from freedoom and NMN's sprite sheets are already there.

Spriters-resource.com has a custom/edited section, but I have zero clue about their policies.

looks better (or atleast more fitting imho) with the pickups edited in, also I feel it kinda should have a sort of scanner or any stand in for a "face" on it's chest, like, a way for the machine to differentiate ally from foe maybe...
