Sunlust Map01-20 movie UV-Max in 1:36:12

Really slow Map20, combination of dogshit fps, dismal caco infighting, and then a couple major blunders by me that cost like 50 seconds alone, those being failing the secret cells jump twice for no reason other than just being bad and taking the jump carelessly, and then wandering the map for like 25 seconds trying to find a chaingunner I should've killed earlier.  Map18 also had a missing enemy that cost around 20 seconds.

 

Episode 2's backhalf in particular went kinda slow, really most of E2 went slow, except for PBs on Map31 and an attempt PB of I think like 6 minutes flat or a couple seconds below that on Map16, also Map17 was an attempt PB by a mere second but again I've only made it to those maps 3 times. E2 would've dragged a lot more if E1 didn't go pretty well, no bad splits in E1, the worst split probably being Map08 in like 4 minutes flat or whatever I got, which is ok but not bad (usually would like to snag 3:5X or 3:4X or better, PB attempt is 3:38 for that map). I think E1 was over a minute faster than my next best split there.

 

As it stands, I am set up to be around near 3 hours total D2All time (best splits of saves/attempts) for when I finish routing, 99% sure it will be over 3 hours but who knows. Depending on how close I am to that 3 hours total D2All time, I will see if I go for sub 3 hours. If I do, I will more than likely have to find a way to do the backhalf of E2 faster, unless I can do E3 ultrafast somehow. I am not getting too close to my times for the backhalf of E2 with saves currently. At least I have built really strong consistency for E1 and E2 (so far).

Thanks. Did some experimenting with a gradient + italic, thought it would contrast well with the deep blues in that room :)

Sunlust Episode 1 UV-Max in 34:59. This could definitely go lower in a D2All attempt, but I don't think it could go sub 34 while maintaining near max ammo (cells/rockets) when exiting Map10. In a pure E1 run, this could go minutes lower I would guess.

 

Also this was cut from a D2All attempt, Maribo offered to cut the demo after Map10, so thank you Maribo.

 

Edit: I got a 34:01 once, so sub 34 definitely possible

Thanks for letting me know about that, I must've forgotten to save the .txt when editing it lol. It should be Fixed

Come on Maribo you should've told them to fix the naming convention as well :P

 

Usually the suffix number should be your time, so for your run, the name of all the files should be "sl12p117". I mean DSDA will accept whatever name of the zip file but for others' convenience sake, having a unified way to name the runs is easier to parse when you take a glance at the name.
