While conversion is somewhat possible, it's better to simply give your monsters a Speed between 8 and 16 (whatever you feel is the best), because that's the Speed used by stock Doom monsters and known to work and feel well. Too large Speed will usually result in buggy and/or erratic movement. Also, your expression "sprite speed" makes no sense.
