But in the Doom universe, even it can take multiple rockets and BFG blasts no problem. Maybe we were all wrong about Doom weapons. They aren't powerful at all. The demons are just super weak. Kinda makes me wonder what metal the mechanical parts of some demons use. These metals are destroyed by weapons that can't even break through a (thin) walls made of stone. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Maes Posted September 24, 2015 Whatever the contractors felt like using, obviously. Rebar, steel sheet, and maaaaaybe a bit of brushed aluminum for the corporate logos. But everything else, whatever they could find for cheap at the scrapyard. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
wallabra Posted September 24, 2015 Putting two-sided linedefs which middle textures become null after shooting with enough power might solve that problem. Spoiler NEVER get too close from a cyberdemon's ass or it can suck you to a turtlure chamber. Don't show. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
VGamingJunkie Posted September 24, 2015 Makes you wonder how all those marines managed to die when all you need to stop the demons cold in their tracks is a door that requires a key card to open. You know how gameplay story segregation is. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Breezeep Posted September 26, 2015 The strongest metal in doom? Obviously Doomguy's nuts. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Zulk RS Posted September 29, 2015 I finally figured out what the strongest metal in (vanilla) doom is. It's a fictional metal called Impassable-linedefium. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

And it also comes in perfectly transparent variants, too. Actually, it's not even a "metal", as such: it's just a sort of varnish coat that can be applied to any material, including THIN AIR, making a sort of transparent, impassable, infinitely-tall film RIGHT IN MID-AIR. Any material treated with the stuff becomes indestructible, and boy, do these demons love applying it (awaiting fanart of demons applying coats of varnish everywhere with a huge grin, thank you). 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
SavageCorona Posted October 2, 2015 I thought this was about the heaviest track in the game. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
nxGangrel Posted October 2, 2015 At Doom's Gate was pretty kick ass metal... oh wait you meant actual metal... um well the water - that's some hard shit man! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
