Shepherd Posted October 23, 2015 Hey fellas, recently I just the 4 official wad with project brutality, but somehow I just can't forget the soundtrack from the ultimate doom with doom:one mod, I've tried to extract with wad browser but what comes out is just a file, I can't open it, neither convert it from format factory, can anyone give me some advise to collect this work of art? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
FireFish Posted October 23, 2015 If you legally own doom wads just use SLADE 3 to extract the sound files, or replace them in another wad. just dont "distribute" the original audio. http://slade.mancubus.net/ 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted October 23, 2015 Another option is to download the MIDI tracks from here, or MP2 tracks from here. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
dew Posted October 23, 2015 GreyGhost, I think he means this Doom:One. The one Andrew Lloyd Webber made music for. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted October 24, 2015 Heh - I wasn't aware of that Doom:One. Which one's Andy - Neurological, Per Kristian or Sonic Clang? An alternative to extracting the soundtrack is to play it direct from the wad with XMPlay, using its midi and wad plugins plus a decent soundfont. EDIT - Just got around to listening to D_E5M6. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
