covaro Posted April 15, 2000 Over at the Visions Of Doom page, there are two or 64 new reviews up. Depends on how you look at it. The reviews? Memento Mori and Memento Mori 2. I think that says enough don't you? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Xenocide Posted April 15, 2000 >Is there any particular reason why MAP28 always houses the >largest level in most > MegaWADs? Thats the level with the cool music 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Elim Garak Posted April 15, 2000 MegaWADs usually have new music. I'd reserve the distinction of best music in MM2 for MAPs 16, 22, 25... 0 Share this post Link to post
AdamW Posted April 15, 2000 I find it weird that Andy gives huge amounts of praise to both wads in his introduction, then finds fault with about 25 of the levels in both...heh. Also, on a personal note Andy, if you find it annoying killing long distance monsters with a chaingun, then hell! don't do it. You don't _HAVE_ to get 100% kills you know. Oh, and the best music in MM2 is unquestionably MAP01. I have that taped. hehe... 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest Elim Garak Posted April 16, 2000 Adam: First of all, very few levels have no faults whatsoever. Second, the only playing I do is UV100. The monsters are there to be killed, not to provide an obsticle course for runners who want to see how quickly they can reach the exit. This is a personal opinion, though. Note, whenever I refer to gameplay in a review, it's assuming you're playing UV100. Personally, I find UV Speed to be boring, both to watch and to play. I apologize if the review offended you. It wasn't intended as a put-down. Finally, I find it hard to choose a favorite score from MM2, since it is basically the best music ever... 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted April 16, 2000 You think UV speedruns are boring to watch? Weirdo... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Charger Posted April 16, 2000 About the speed running. Man, what ever rows your boat. (Of course if you can't row your own boat you have problems, but hey, it takes all kinds.) 0 Share this post Link to post
