Guest Anonymous User Posted June 16, 2000 I'm on a voodoo3, and ZdoomGL fux0rs my system, with or without the -4dfx switch. Someone should debug it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Risen Posted June 16, 2000 Just a small correction: A face usually designates one side (usualy the front) of a polygon. It is used mainly for texturing. As nearly all 3D models are structured so you never see the backface of a polygon, most renderers don't even bother drawing them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Captain Napalm Posted June 16, 2000 It looks great! Has some of the best scripting ever! Has cool models (I love those plant guys!), but to be honest I thought the gameplay sucked. Now you may or not remember my opinion about Doom 3 but this again is what I am talking about! Fucking hell! This is Doom! It´s not supposed to have OpenGL Dynamic lighting or that other stuff! IT IS FUCKING DOOM! Again Zanzan looks great has good scripting and is a wonder to behold, but it´s not Doom in anyway. Make this for Half-Life or Quake 3 but not Doom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Anonymous User Posted June 16, 2000 My question is, if regular people making Doom add-ons can come up with kickass original ideas for TCs (such as this fine add on), why the hell can't id software come up with a friggin original idea. Not to say Doom3 or whatever it's called won't be cool, but it'd be nice to see someone do something new for once. This TC, by the way, rocks ass, and I can't speak for others, but ZDoom never crashes and ZDoomGL has done so only once. And it's -3dfx, not -4dfx. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted June 17, 2000 I tried it with this: ZDoomGL -file zan.wad -width 800 -height 600 -nosound ...and it still craps in Windows 2000 (Dr. Watson error). Dammit! 0 Share this post Link to post
