Linguica Posted August 28, 2000 Version 1.5.0 of the Linux WAD editor Yadex has been released. What's new in this version, you may ask? Well...function to swap floor & ceiling, sprites shown on the map, Heretic and Doom alpha tweaks, improved Strife support, support for sprites in pwads, some support for EDGE, about 50 other changes. This is the first new version since 4/1/00, for those of you keeping score. 0 Share this post Link to post

Jon Posted August 28, 2000 I've always thought that windows/dos editors in general are sparse in the good department, either being too ugly or too buggy. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted August 28, 2000 I really dig DOOMCad a lot. It'll only work under a windows environment (Win3.x on up to WinNT and Win2K). Not very good copy and paste. You may want to try WAD Author, it has a pretty tight and useful copy and paste between levels in the same editor. 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest Medieval_Gnome Posted August 28, 2000 What is the difference between 6.1 and 5.1? Does 5.1 allow you to [b]easially[/u] create sectors in sectors? 0 Share this post Link to post
