Guest Skarj Posted November 20, 2000 i think ling should release the wad and give hissy to the winner!!!! 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest QCommand Posted November 20, 2000 does that link go to the real wad? 0 Share this post Link to post
Vorpal Posted November 20, 2000 It's been released for a few hours or something, and already has 283 downloads! 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Scave Posted November 20, 2000 10 Sectors =) Giddy up! Sooo any release date on the wads that didn't make it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest wondersmith Posted November 20, 2000 Linguica, you said you would add co-op starts to all the maps, but you apparently didn't. MAP01, for example, appears to support co-op fine except that the starts are missing. :-( 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted November 20, 2000 Ok, so now I got a huge problem. There is this file sitting on my desktop called 10Sector.zip, but it's almost half past midnight and I have work in the morning. Choices hmmm. Guess I'll be tired at work tomorrow. 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted November 20, 2000 I actually was going through and adding co-op starts, but DETH is retarded when it comes to editing multi-level WADs, so I gave up. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest IconOfSin Posted November 20, 2000 Sweet! Sweet sweet sweet! Dammit 56K, download faster!!! I can't wait... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest space-dog Posted November 20, 2000 levels 11 and 25 don't work in zdoom. and as for level 32, hmmmmm. i'm not bitter ( honestly :P ) 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Mattrim. Posted November 20, 2000 space-dog: Yes, MAP32 is a piece of dung. Blame AndrewB. 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted November 20, 2000 No, Map31 was AndrewB's choice, I put in Map32 just because I thought it was the weirdest way to use 10 sectors. 0 Share this post Link to post
Drat Posted November 20, 2000 Space-Dog, you said: levels 11 and 25 don't work in zdoom. and as for level 32, hmmmmm I recall a mention of "Boom specific sector effects" when the competition was on. Perhaps you should play it in boom. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hyena Posted November 20, 2000 Where are the other non-megawad levels? 0 Share this post Link to post
Aardappel Posted November 20, 2000 so it's ling who fell for my little experiment! guess I shouldn't be so hard on him then. Love you ling, honest! /me hugs ling. I seem to have a nack for making very weird maps and upsetting people in the process. My recent "100% made out of curved surfaces" q3 map shocked quite a few people too. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest rethcir Posted November 20, 2000 Someone make a boom-compatible version of Jdoom! I would if I could afford MSVC++! 0 Share this post Link to post
prower Posted November 20, 2000 Definitely the most creative level in the pack. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Mattrim. Posted November 20, 2000 Linguica: a quick once-over of the judging results included in 10sector.txt reveals that MAP32, aka 03/05, was included in the Top 32 of only one judge: AndrewB. Given this textual evidence, to the contrary of your claim ("I put in Map32 just because I thought it was the weirdest way to use 10 sectors"), I blame AndrewB for its inclusion. 0 Share this post Link to post
