Informal DOOM Designing Competition

I've always thought the best home made wads were the ones that were most like the original DOOM levels... that goes for the ones I made, too. So I'm encouraging people to make the best classic DOOM level they can possible conjure - that would fit the classic DOOM feel of Episode 1, 2 or 3. (episode 4 not included) The winners (three will be selected) will get nothing. But they will have the satisfaction of making the most classic DOOM level ever. While BOOM effects are allowd, new graphics and funkdified effects are not encouraged as the purpose of this competition is to create wads that capture the original atmoshpere of DOOM. If there are enough quality submissions, perhaps an episode could come of it.... Email your Classic DOOM level to chesterules@yahoo.com with the subject: Classic DOOM level.

We (RTC:SOH) are doing a remake of E2, but it WILL include some new graphics. Not that we are "submitting" anything, we're just doing this.
