Guest Aiylyn Posted August 31, 2000 Okay, I don't know if this is true of all Doom Wads and editors, but when I make a level with DoomCAD, the first sector is called Sector Zero. This means that if I made a level with the highest sector number being 10, there would be a total of 11 sectors. Is this permissable for the 10-sector contest? or am I only allowed to go up to sector 9? BTW, when's the deadline? 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted August 31, 2000 1) "All WADs will be inspected and any with over 10 sectors will be disqualified. All submitted levels will be opened in DETH, all unused objects will be removed (F10 menu), and then the sectors will be counted. Under 10 sectors is no problem, so if you can make a cool level with like 3, more power to you." 2) http://www.doomworld.com/contest/10sectors.shtml / 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted August 31, 2000 In DOOMCad, the first sector will always be zero. You need to go no more than 9 (0-9 is 10 total, just like 1-10 is 10 total). I used DOOMCad 5.1, and have 10 sectors total, numbered from 0 thru 9. Don't sweat it. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
