Port & Wad paths

Where do you put your ports and wads, Im just curious. Every
batch that comes with someones wad never has my path in it
It just has the typical path, which I would never use cause
it would be way to cluttered.

My paths are

C:\Doom\Doomport, and then each port has it's own folder
C:\Doom\Doomwads, and then each wad has it's own folder

i put them in the same doom, doom2, tnt and plutonia wad directory where is Wad Author
like
c:\wadauthor\zdoom.exe
c:\wadauthor\csdoom.exe
c:\wadauthor\doom95.exe
...

exe's go in e:\doom
wads/deh's go in e:\doom\wads
iwads in e:\doom again (not too many of them)

Ports all go in the DOOM2 directory, add-on WADs go in subdirectories.

ex.

c:\doom2\(doom2.wad, all source port exe's)
c:\doom2\roks\
c:\doom2\qdoomtst

etc...

I put everything in the same dir. It's rather messy, but it works for me. :)

i basically have 1 'uge messy folder called doomfinal (whih, originally contained only final doom... d'oh!), and everything goes in there - ports, wads, everything - xcept 4 editors and stuff like that
